In the Scriptures we see our hearts are not only searched by God, along with our minds, but from our hearts our mouths speak. What comes out of our mouth shows what's in our hearts and taking inventory of our words will reveal a lot to the person who really wants to be honest with themselves and serve God with a pure heart. Jesus will cleanse our hearts but we need to understand our need for cleansing and we do that by drawing closer to Him.
