As a new believer, learning the Scriptures I ran into verses where it challenged me to look at my own relationship with God and determine if I was actually a true child of God or fake pretending to be one. Surrendering to Jesus is difficult for many because we don't know what to do as a "Christian." But He meets us where we are and when we yield to Him and open up to Him in faith we receive His Spirit. That's when things get real.
